Purple Heart Foundation

The Purple Heart Desert Thrift Shop is proud to partner with the Purple Heart Foundation to support veterans and individuals in crisis in the East Valley.

Since its founding in 1957, the Purple Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been dedicated to raising funds for vital programs and services that benefit veterans and their families. Over the past 60 years, the Foundation has supported initiatives like academic scholarships, the MOPH National Service Officer Program, research on key veteran issues such as Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), service dog grants, and much more. The Foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of life for veterans and their families, providing direct support while fostering camaraderie and goodwill among combat-wounded veterans.
